Hello There!

Greetings and salutations! My name is Rachel Belle, and I am your friendly neighborhood musician. For years, I have wanted to keep a blog running for the sake of a creative writing outlet and a way to share my ideas with the rest of the world. I have a number of things I would love to write about, but I'd like to stay on theme with music. In college, I took a class called The Liberal Arts Foundation for the Musician, or LAFM if you will. Hands down one of my favorite classes in college, as it challenged me to explore the realities of art and how worldviews will clash with praise or criticism of said art. There is a part of me that wants to continue this LAFM study on my own and continue to challenge and shape my views on art and music. This blog will consist of these things as well as reviews of songs, art, books, and maybe even movies. Cannot say for sure that I know where this blog will go, but I hope you will join me on my journey to thinking both beautifully and critically.
